This year is the 50th anniversary of London’s Notting Hill Carnival and Rampage are pleased to announce their return!
After 1 year away, Rampage, the largest static sound system at Notting Hill Carnival with over 15,000 people at any one time, will return to celebrate caribbean culture, tradition and influence in the UK at Europe’s largest carnival, one of the largest street festivals in the world.
The Rampage stage is notoriously known as the best stage at the Carnival. Located just off All Saints Road it is home (for two days) to the award-winning Rampage Sound System who have delivered star-studded shows in the past with everyone wanting to grace their stage, from the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Mark Ronson, Ms Dynamite, Wiley and Tinie Tempah to best selling international artists like Shaggy, Sean Paul, Swizz Beatz, Buju Banton, Ryan Leslie and Lloyd to name a few.
Known as the first DJs to ‘multi genre’ mix and also the first to perfect ‘multi deck mixing’ in particular on live radio, Rampage have done gigs as far afield as Kenya, Hungary, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Miami, Atlanta, Cyprus, Ibiza, and all over the U.K. They currently have the longest running RnB club night in Ayia Napa Cyprus at 13 Years and counting, Rampage continue to do what they do.
The Notting Hill Carnival is a significant event in British culture and this year Rampage Sound have partnered with Boiler Room who will be live streaming from the Notting Hill Carnival to an audience of music festival lovers all around the world.
To mark their comeback they will be hosting a Rampage Sound Pre-Carnival Special on the 26th August at the Notting Hill Arts Club;
