2018, the year of humans being unapologetically themselves whilst the theme of culture takes over all parts of the globe, and from it all, arises a dream from a young, London raised soul.
Amun is a 22-year-old British-Somali Singer/Song writer-artist, born and raised in the UK’s capital. The video for her latest single ‘So Cold’ has just made its debut via Link Up TV to rapturous comments, courtesy of the flawless vocals, chic imagery and hazy aura, and her plight to share her music in order to inspire is clearly having the effect it was intended to.
Taken from her impending EP release ‘I Like To Sing’, Amun strives to be ‘free and creative on a beat’ and completes her new selection of tracks showing a variety of flows, not only with her voice but lyrically too. Each track portrays the lessons, experiences & childhood tales that many can relate to. ‘So Cold’ specifically depicts revenge, “It is the thoughts of someone that was treated less than their worth, as well as the wrath that comes with not appreciating people”, says Amun describing her work.
Partnering with Perpetuity Music for the release of the EP, who have been responsible for several acts that are now well established in the UK Urban scene, Amun steps in to the spotlight surrounded by an experienced and understanding team that aim to nurture and highlight her incredible talent the world.
Check out the video above via Link Up TV and look out for the EP coming soon.
