New Music: Tribe Called Quest drops “Dis Generation” as latest single

“Dis Generation” is the latest track to be taken from the incredible new album “We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service” by legendary hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest.

“Di Generation” is A Tribe Called Quest at their best on a track about the pan-generational nature of hip-hop, both looking back and forwards to produce a classic single featuring their old friend Busta Rhymes.

A Tribe Called Quest have been nominated for Best International Group at the Brit Awards 2017. The awards take place at The O2 on Wednesday 22nd February.

“We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service” was released in November 2016 to universal acclaim. 18 years after their previous record, it brought the original line up back together with the album completed before the sad passing of Phife Dawg. It builds brilliantly on the legacy of these hip-hop legends who have always made groundbreaking records. Guests on the album Kendrick Lamar, Elton John, Jack White, André 3000, Busta Rhymes, Consequence, Anderson Paak and Talib Kweli

The group is one of hip-hop’s most legendary, beloved and revered groups of all time. Easily recognized for their unique approach to rap music by employing jazz infused soundscapes to Afro centric rhymes.

A Tribe Called Quest will be coming to the UK this summer, headlining Bestival and appearing at Parklife Festival in Manchester.
