After his thought provoking performance at the Brit Awards 2015 on Wednesday night, Kanye West sat down with BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe on Thursday for an in-depth interview.
They initially talked about where Kanye was 18 month ago when they last sat down together, they discussed his new album, and his unrelenting desires to invent and design.
It’s full of gems, real talk and some real emotion; Kanye was also reduced to tears when talking about Louise Wilson, a British professor of fashion design at Central St Martins, who passed away last year.

Kanye is in the UK to launch his Yeezy Boost trainers, which had their global debut on stage during the Grammy Awards 2015 last month and then launched in America during New York Fashion Week alongside his wider capsule collection for Adidas.
Arthur Hoeld, General Manager of Adidas Originals said: “No one transcends music and fashion like Kanye West, he is a cultural icon like no other and brings a completely new expression to designing shoes.
“The Yeezy Boost is the first sneaker that brings Kanye’s unique creativity and individuality to the forefront of its design.”
